President & CEO
Dondra Ward Uzoka, SGR’s President and C.E.O, has a passion for supporting organizations that enact social change and strengthen neighborhoods. For the past 5 years, Dondra has helped SGR's client partners win nearly $6M in competitive foundation, corporate, and government grant awards. Dondra excels at building healthcare, small business, and environmental pilot programs from scratch. This expertise has led to funding for many telehealth, hospital, and greening initiatives. Her knack for racial justice projects has helped win over $400K for systems change initiatives since August 2021. Since 2018, Dondra has trained hundreds of grant professionals, church and nonprofit leaders, nonprofit teams, and government employees.
Prior to starting SGR, Dondra worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Dept. of Health and Human Service, and the private healthcare industry. Dondra has earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology, a Graduate Certificate in Public Health Information Systems, a Grant Professional Certified credential ( kinda like the CPA of grants world), and is a Grant Professionals Association (GPA) Approved Trainer. She is a USDA Science Advisor, and member of the Grant Professionals Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals (National/DC), Prince George's Chamber of Commerce, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Tiffany Nobles, Owner of T. Nobles Grant Consulting, LLC, is truly a valuable asset to the SGR Grant Writing team, and our client partners. Tiffany is a skilled grant professional with over 10 years of experience writing winning proposals for nonprofits that deliver homelessness, housing, behavioral health, K-12 education, and youth programming. She is a creative thinker; has top-notch grant development skills; and has prior experience with HUD, SAMHSA, DOL, and United Way grant applications. Tiffany holds a Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and has earned her Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential.

Jeanne Johnston, Founder and Lead Consultant of SFG Consulting Services, is an expert grant professional with $11M+ in grant awards and she has helped organizations implement over $8 M in federal grants. As part of the SGR Grant Writing Team, Jeanne has guided our client partners through tough decisions to find grant solutions for their most pressing program funding needs. She excels in extensive grant research, writing, strategic planning, and capital campaigns. Jeanne has earned a BS in Business Administration and Marketing, a MPA in Community Development/Nonprofit Management, and the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential.

Ann Keefe, Grant Writer and Owner of 123 Grant Writer LLC, has 20+ years of experience writing grants to federal, state, and local funders including community and private foundations and corporations. Ann’s eye for detail and experience approaching hard-to-impress funders have helped SGR’s client partners fund pilot programs and follow the application instructions to a tee. Ann has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduate work in Ecology. She uses her sound science background to write grant applications for agriculture (USDA); community development (Block grants); NOAA; first responders (policeman, EMS, fireman, and veterans); capital equipment; rural hospital and community health programs; victims of human trafficking; and immigrant services.
